Purpose

Carbonnest publishes practical evidence about sustainability on small farms in Zambia. Articles should help a reader understand a method, reproduce a calculation, or make a better-informed farm decision.

First-person reporting

“I”, “we” and “our farm” are used only for events the author directly experienced and can defend with notes, photographs, receipts or records. Carbonnest does not invent purchases, trials, quotations or personal stories. Planned work is labelled as planned; it is never written as a completed result.

Evidence standards

Farm measurements identify the date or season, location or plot, units, method and known limitations. Costs are shown in ZMW and dated because prices change. Research claims link to the original paper, dataset, government publication or institutional report wherever possible.

Commercial independence

Advertising does not determine conclusions. Sponsored material and affiliate relationships, if introduced, will be labelled clearly. Products are not recommended merely because a commission is available.

Material changes are noted in the article. Corrections are handled under the corrections policy.
